Who am I?

I'm Job, a software engineneer. Originally from The Netherlands, I recently moved to New Zealand to live closer to nature.

In my spare time, I like to tinker with hardware and software. Check out my blog to get a glimpse of what I do.

This website is not specifically meant for anybodies eyes other than my own. The goal is not to become a famous blogger (if that's even a thing nowadays), but rather to document the personal project I've worked on for my own pleasure and motivate myself to keep exploring and learning.

This website's low tech

This website is built using my own static site generator consisting of a few hundred lines of JavaScript. I've tried using off the shelf static site generators, but felt like I was in the passenger's seat instead of the driver's seat.

The layout you see here is deliberately kept simple and tries to minimize visual distractions. Inspiration is taken mainly from jeffgeerling.com, which is built using Hugo.
